Australian Visa Options
June 13th 2008 05:38
There are over 120 different visas that will allow you temporary or permanent entry into Australia.
To make a successful application for any one of these visas you must prove that you meet the specific requirements set out by the Australian government. We will assist you by determining which visa is appropriate for you.
The different visas that are available are divided into various categories. The most common categories that our clients apply under include family migration, student visas, retirement visas, skilled migration, business migration and employer sponsored migration.
The Government priority for migration is to target people who have skills or outstanding abilities to fill the skilled worker shortages in the Australian Workforce and who can contribute to the Australian economy. If you are a skilled professional, tradesperson or student graduating from an Australian university and you have an occupation which is on the SOL (Skilled Occupation List), you may qualify for unrestricted Australian permanent residency.
Alternatively, you may find that one of the other categories is better suited to your situation. You may find an Australian company or business that wishes to employ you and you could be eligible to apply for Employer Sponsored Migration.
If you are a successful business owner and intend to establish a business in Australia, you may be able to apply for a visa under the Business category. Applicants have to show that they have skills to enhance the economy through developing a new or existing business or investing significant funds in Australia.
If you have a close family member living in Australia like a spouse, prospective partner, child, parent, or another family member who is a permanent resident or citizen you may be eligible for one of the family sponsored visas.
Also retirees with significant assets who want to live and invest their money in Australia have a chance to obtain a temporary visa.
Do you want to improve your English language ability and/or strengthen your career prospects? Have you thought about studying in Australia? We can help you to enroll in a course at a University or TAFE in Australia and get a Student Visa.
